Manuel Gomez, Voice
Manuel Gomez is a Kent State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance. While at Kent State, Manuel studied under Timothy Culver and performed in multiple opera productions, including the lead role in Offenbach's "A Musical Evening at the Choufleuris.” Manuel began singing in choirs at nine, starting with the Cleveland Orchestra Children's Chorus. He made his debut with the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Music Center singing a boy soprano solo. Manuel went on to join the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus and, later, the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus. In addition, Manuel is a Cleveland Chamber Choir member and a cantor at St. Peregrine Church. As a teacher, Manuel’s aim is to help students understand the meaning behind the music they are singing in order to reflect that meaning in their musicality. Manuel also stresses the importance of creating a comfortable learning environment for people of all ages.
