Trinity Goff, Piano
Trinity Goff is a pianist, organist, and improviser from Salem, Oregon. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance in 2025 from Willamette University, studying with Jean-David Coen. She is currently a Master of Music student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, where she studies with pianist Gabriela Montero. She has also studied with Ilana Vered and has participated in masterclasses with John Perry, Jerome Lowenthal, Ursula Oppens, Janina Fialkowska, Alexander Kobrin, and Mikhail Voskresensky, among others.
With ten years of teaching experience, Trinity has maintained a private piano studio in Oregon with over 40 students of all ages. Her students have earned top prizes and scholarships in competitions and festivals including the OMTA Baroque Festival, OMTA Contemporary Festival, the Iva Turner Scholarship Competition, and the Gibbens Scholarship Competition, among others, as well as state and national honors.
A prizewinner in major competitions, she was a silver medalist in the professional division of the Northwest Chopin Piano Competition and the National Steinway Competition, and a USA finalist and Outstanding Performance Award winner at the NTD International Piano Competition. She has appeared as soloist with the Oregon Symphony and Orchestra Europa in Italy, performing concerti by Chopin, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky. Her recent appearances include performances at the Sala dei Notari in Perugia, Merkin Concert Hall in New York City, and opening the Grace Goudy Distinguished Artist Series with Caroline Shaw. She is co-founder and pianist of the Cleveland-based Veles Trio.
